Today’s arrivals of a bout of retail therapy…. Red panda shirt, replica of the Necronomicon Ex Mortis, and the Seal of Metatron from Silent Hill. All the good things in life!

I am wearing a very pretty dress that goes down to maybe the knees. It’s very cool and cute, but I am definitely self conscious about my legs. (Yes, I have shaved them recently). Pushing my comfort zone a little.

Look, I’ve wanted long hair my entire life. Probably a sign of my closeting. Now I have it. And finding the joys of eating outside with the wind blowing my hair into my face and non stop. A problem I never even thought of before. Need to stash hair ties in my purse.

quote from an exchange today, "I mean, I've spent a summer in India, and a winter in Minnesota. Between the two, California doesn't have weather, just clouds with attitude"

I just had to tell one of my employees *7* times which field to fill in, because he kept submitting it wrong and getting errors. Eventually screen capture, circle the field (which had the name I kept telling him), and then a quick video call to walk him through it. I'm... going to step away for a few moments and just scream into a pillow.

@zoharlee @cstross Same! I'm glad that I was able to make the quick connection with some of the characters in the past vs their modern counterparts. And dammit, more questions than I had when I first read it.

I love the smell of hair dye... the smell of self determination of body imagery.

In a meeting, and I was spoken over multiple times by dudes. Someone then repeated something I brought up 30 minutes ago, and all the other guys treated it as something new. As anger inducing that this is, I guess it's kind of gender affirming.

Found out 45 had a legacy site of "the most magnificent presidency" I had to go and read... ok, besides the fact it hasn't been updated since 2021 (snerk), there's only so much self-aggrandizement I can take. OMG, just the alternate history there is awful.

I’m feeling a little shy about my outfit today…. Sleeveless blouse/skirt that makes it to halfway down my thighs (damn right I’m wearing tights). And, my eye liner is kind of at the “fuck it, I’m a panda” stage. Still, the baristas at Treehouse were incredibly affirming and flattering, to the point I was blushing and hiding my face in embarrassment. I’m pushing my boundaries a little, and definitely *not* wearing this to the office, but I’m glad I got some positive feedback.

One of the nice things about working from home, is that on nice days, I can work out on the porch the cool breeze, lightly warm sun, and the call of birds throughout the neighborhoo

Taking a little time before work to sit on the porch with a cup of tea, relax, and listen to the birds awakening with the morning.Really helping immensely with centering myself before I start my dsy.
