This was an art request from @Coco4CocoPix of their character doing the "I'M IN YO' WALLS" face. Normally I don't post single emotes because they're so small, but they asked me to make this one 500 x 500 instead of the usual 112 x 112, so why not.

Am once again trying to draw pretty things in my new art style. There was more success this time, but improvement is still needed.

Some explanation is required. I have DOZENS of unfinished art requests in my saves folder from people who redeemed drawtime in my Art Request Twitch Stream, but didn't stick around to see it through to the end. Therefore I've started a "Forgotten WIP" Segment in my stream to work on these, starting with the oldest first. This two year old request was of a DNA (Or "Jogress) digi-volution of Lillithmon and Ophanimon. It was requested by Lady Guu, who I h...

I don't know how long it had been growing there in the dark, but when I opened the door that morning, something had clearly taken root.

Those woods were protected long before they were on any map.

My new "Forgotten WIP" segment on my livestream continues to produce results, as this is the second WIP I've completed. This one was from SlashSpryzen6, who was technically my FIRST VIEWER, so I was glad to get back to it and see it done. I haven't seen Slash for a while, but I hope they like it. If you would like to have your own Free Art Request done, stop by my livestream on Fridays: twitch.tv/dasnooter.

I was in a chill mood, so I drew this chill thing.

Some explanation is required, I've been playing Atlyss lately, and I needed to make a character for an RP group I'm looking to join. Perhaps I will make more illustrations as I go, perhaps my character will die right away. We'll see.

Considering this was done in "my style," I thought it would be cool to have them passing each other in the night. Kind of a close encounter with an urban legend/cryptid kinda thing. Honestly if you think about the Totoro movie, that's a pretty good description of how those encounters would feel for adults who don't just automatically trust gigantic, fluffy, cartoon characters running around.

This was another art request done during the "Forgotten WIP" segment. It was requested several years ago by LadyGuu, who actually ended up coming back to the stream! This is from back before I implemented the rule that viewers can only have one active request at a time. (Or at least back before I was good about enforcing it) Remarkable how much I have grown as an artist since then!

Amtgard was requesting new Art last month (yes during Art Fight, I know.) The Art was for the Dor Un Avathar XI, which is basically their version of a Monster Manual. The new art was requested because even though many of the previous illustrations were beautiful, they were not printer friendly. So us LARP artists had to make submissions which were BW with almost no greyscale; practically Line Arts.

Next up I went with the Corrosion Beast. Because what even IS a "Corrosion Beast?" In the DnD Monster Manual, the Corrosion Beast is depicted as some kind of giant flea. In the Dor Un Avather, it was some weird armadillo centipede. With this vague instructions, I decided to base my Corrosion beast off an Amebelodon, and a Megatherium. I also gave it iron spikes and a thagomizer; meant to represent how this creature metabolizes the metal it eats, and integrates it into its car...

Next up for my Monster Art submissions for the Dor Un Avathar, I did some undead creatures. This one is "Ghost," and I based it primarily off the Japanese Teru Teru Bozu tradition. (We didn't call it that when I was making these with my parents as a kid, but I learned about the tradition when I grew up) #amtgard #dorunavathar #larp

Next up is Wraith. Unlike ghost, the garb for wraith is listed as dark and ragged. They have the "blink," "gift of air," and "phase bolt" abilities. So I went with a semi corporeal mass of dark slimy fabric stretched/growing over an unseen form. (Keep in mind that messing with the opacity would result in greyscale, therefore break the BW style guide. Hence why I didn't do it.) #amtgard #dounavathar #larp

Next up I drew the "Ghoul." I did my best to incorporate elements of the original "Ghul" legends from Pre-Islamic Arabic folklore. I've kind of had a soft spot for these things. Like so what if they eat dead flesh? So do we, It's called a Big Mac. Like, you're telling me this thing everyone is so terrified of isn't a ruthless predator, but merely a glorified mole-vulture? So the motivations for starving and hunting these poor c...
