OTD in 1920 Latvian Soviet Peace Treaty was signed. Article 2 recognized the independence of Latvia as inviolable for all future time. But this time it's different

Europeans care more about what FIFA is doing to football than what russia is doing to Ukraine. RE: https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:vovinwhtulbsx4mwfw26r5ni/post/3mry6td7cci2t

OTD in 1940, USSR formally annexed Lithuania. Soviets troops had been "invited in" (in accordance with absolutely nothing to do with our treaty with Nazis) & then held "elections" where 99%+ voted to join USSR. None of this should sound familiar to you.

OTD in 2015 your Prez announced that "unilateral actions & expansion of jurisdiction by one nation beyond its territory to the world is unacceptable" Imagine a country doing that.

Day 1613 of my 3 day war. This could be first time in history that a country occupies all of the land around an inland sea, yet manages to lose both naval and air supremacy over it. But that's what we've done with Sea of Azov. I remain a master strategist.

OTD in 2014, MH17 shot itself down with a BUK system the "rebels" suddenly denied they had admitted having. Here's a history of our MH17 propaganda that shows we don't do it so you believe something. We do it so you believe nothing. And more importantly, do nothing It works

Some years ago Russia also had a defence minister who wanted to reform and modernise the army. Generals didn't like him either. So he got sacked. It worked out fine for us so I'm sure Ukraine has nothing to worry about.

A Russian defense minister is not "fired". He is fired *at*. With a 7.62mm. In a Kremlin courtyard. By his replacement.

Day 1602 of my 3 day war. Our queues for fuel will soon be so long that we will attack the Ukrainians from behind. I remain a master strategist.

3 days ago we killed over 30 civilians in Kiev. Last night we killed a dozen. Apparently this isn't worth a mention on @amnesty.org@bsky.brid.gy's main account. Wonder why.

OTD in 1943 first battle of Kursk started. Many Ukrainians, supplied with *a lot* of American equipment, fought Nazis. All that has changed is that USA is now on the side of the Nazis

Day 1591 of my 3 day war. Mobilisation will be difficult if the entire country is immobilised. I remain a master strategist.

OTD in 2014, "pro-Russian rebels" damaged a Ukrainian SU-24 with a missile that they bought from a shop, proving that they had no air-air weapons to later shoot MH17 with. You decided that this meant we hadn't invaded Ukraine when we had. Which is what led us to this.

One year ago UN said it was indeed us who shelled & killed Ukrainian POWs at Olenivka. This was absolutely not cos we had tortured them so badly that releasing them would've shamed even us. You'd think this would be big news.

When you stop and think about who said we would win, the fact we are going to lose becomes much clearer.

We've gone from Russia saying "take this deal cos the next one will be worse" to Ukraine saying it. I remain a master strategist.

OTD in 1997 negotiations to end the 1st Chechen war began. As a result we promised to not use force, or the threat of force, “forever”. 2 years later we staged some false flags & invaded & killed over 100,000 civilians. So you can trust us in negotiations now.

OTD in 1945, having just liberated Lithuania from Nazis, Soviet mass deportations resumed, liberating 1000 Lithuanians from Lithuania to provide slave labor for USSR. Within 2 years over half were dead. Imagine mass deportations taking place today...
