  @gregatron5 A different, and very thorough, take on UBI, though this piece won't convince PP and his cabal that UBI is a good thing. It's reinforcing to see that at least a few people are having these thoughts.

  @sundogplanets Obviously not a scientist, or even an amateur astronomer, but I live surrounded by trees and back onto a significant his that obscures meteor showers and auroras when the clouds don't moot the physical features, meaning that I generally relay on the internet for all the gorgeous moons, streaks across the sky, alignments. I get to sleep, and reap the benefits of other people's diligence, for which I am ever grateful. And goats...

  In BC, we're riddled with the development disease, and the rush to torpedo DRIPA is as good an indicator as one might want.   @RavynWitch We have a true lauris nobilis that was a wedding present in 1982. It was about a meter tall. We decided to see if it would survive a winter on Vancouver Island in early 1984, and it died right back to the ground, but sprouted up with seven separate shoots. It grew rapidly to a height of 10+ meters, then suffered another dieback in a particularly hard frost, this around 1997.
