Still can&#39;t believe that the entire software industry decided to use source control that doesn&#39;t properly know what a file is and breaks if you have the audacity to rename one.

It&#39;s very fun to sit here wondering if I&#39;m depressed or just having a normal reaction to my industry attempting to destroy all of society along with itself on top of fascists being pretty successful at destroying society through politics right now.

People on here like, &quot;we&#39;re getting to the point where it is impossible to argue that AI tools don&#39;t work for code&quot; meanwhile my coworker last week used Claude to push a commit that purported to set the version of a dependency. The AI failed at this most basic task.
