@JonathanSimeone Absolutely agree - only acceptable temporary solution until start enforcing 0 tolerance policy is to let us ride in Uber Pets for no extra fee - I use Uber Pets myself as just can't take the stress & anxiety of constant refusals

@brian_hartgen 2 tools that I use for AI Koala.sh and MagAI.co both give me API access to quite a few models & have a switch that I can turn on for real time web search & real time web data through their API tool. I don't know how they do it though but both devs are excellent

@brian_hartgen They do get us to select the particular LLM model that we want to use for each query/session as different models use different amounts of credits so I use different LLMs for different types of tasks - MagAI is being developed constantly with more features

@karaswisher And don't forget what an incredible enticing hacking target it will also be - Not only because of a central IT repositry for everything but some of the most corruptible humans which are always the weakest links in security

@dangillmor @jaykuo And in addition Substack has a terrible UI/UX for readers

@rolle Really like Rocket.net that I host with & they have some great WP enterprise options. Kinsta of course is top tier & I am sure they could custom configure the right solution using top of the line Google Cloud solutions but it won't be cheap of course. In the past I would have said Pagely of course but under new ownership & management I don't know enough

@Woody I always require the airline to provide one - Otherwise they are likely to say your mat doesn't comply etc and the mat wouldn't achieve anything anyway if an accident occured - Have travelled on both Virgin & Qantas recently & both provided the mat no problems

@Woody @graemeinnes Oh my god - poor you. I wouldn't fly on Jetstar unless it was the only choice & even then try & find a different airport and route! Have had multiple Human Rights Commission incidents with Jetstar in the past when they were the only option & never again

@glenngabe Do they mean search from Google.com or search on Youtube itself? I guess I am one of the few who still finds videos through Google search!

@sjtaylor Blindness orgs in the EU were poised to launch legal action before Covid & then other priorities for many things took over. The TM7 was only just announced this morning Australian time & extremely disappointing that no speech on machine itself & not integrated with any voice assistants yet. Question was asked by consultants & on dev list apparently.

@sjtaylor Manufacturer is EU (Germany) based & the EU has much better disability discrimination legislation than Australia where I am so I think best to bring to European blindness orgs attention and coordinate efforts - whether that is letter writing or legal action will depend on their timeline as on dev list is very vague

@sjtaylor Where do you live by the way? Australia?

@sjtaylor I'm up in Cairns FNQ. And my wife, Jo, who is a Thermomix consultant (it was her blog post) tells me they said it is on the top 10 list but still no timing info or what the other items are on the list

@MastodonEngineering Absolutely fantastic news as something I really want. Currently people putting links into a post is really inefficient & less accessible for me as a blind user - Much better when can just read the text of the original really easily
