Fun new #Firefox feature just landed in nightly. Ever sick of background tabs playing audio and not being able to find them? You can now type "shush" in the url bar to get a button that will mute the audio. (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2019338)

Photos I exhibited last night for the Art of the Scene. Such a fun night, it was great to see everyone and all the amazing work. (Lambrini Girls, San Jose, Soapbox, Sister Madds)

HotWax @ HouseGuest Funnily enough it was exactly 1 year ago that HotWax played Nice N Sleazy supported by The Froobz (who were also playing HouseGuest). So much has happened in a year it felt like it must have been more than a year ago. Great to see them again on top form.

Everybody to Kenmure Street is in the cinemas now, really looking forward to seeing it. Reminded me to go back through some photos from the day.

Vigilanti @ HouseGuest 2025 This was a wild show to randomly stumble into, shame to hear they split last month but glad I managed to catch them before. Heard the cheap tickets for this years HouseGuest are almost gone.

Oedipus and The Mama’s Boys Had a blast at new favourite venue, Leith Cricket Club on the weekend. Catch them next at HouseGuest, definitely a must see.

Radhika supporting Former Champ @ Leith Cricket Club Beautiful sound and a very wholesome gig, seeing a Dad + Daughter on stage together was really touching.

It's a Firefox Relase Day! One of the projects I work on is being released, the TrustPanel has replaced the seperate lock + shield panels in the Urlbar. Got rid of one icon in the urlbar and saved space and the result should hopefully be a bit easier and more pleasant to use.

I would really like to get involved back more in OSS advocacy and outreach, its a part of my job that I miss. However the level outrage bait, misinformation and entitlement involved in popular OSS these days, I am not sure I have the patience.

Former Champ @ Leith Cricket Club Loved this gig, dreamy guitar pop, in a similiar vein to The Beths (who are one of my favourites).

So much fun taking some shots with Oedipus & The Mama's Boys. Have a need to get some practice in so if you / your band want a shoot and can make it between 9:30 - 2:30 any day next week get in touch!

Sad to hear about Mikeal Rogers passing. A long time ago I was reading a book about an old famous OSS project he was involved in then suddenly shortly after I got to work with him. He started @pouchdb and then guided me to maintain it, teaching me about OSS and community along the way. He recommended me for my current job and one of the few people I kept in touch during my hiatus from the tech community. Honestly looking back the impact he had on where I am now is huge, will be missed.
