I don’t get the upside of a soft (slow) closing toilet lid/seat. I always close the lid before I flush. Don’t want splash-back. So the downsides I see are: Having to wait before you can flush. If you’re in a hurry &amp; someone has left the seat up. . . Any positives?

I have a new mantra for when I’m not feeling great. My 2 year old niece likes to sing to herself while she’s pretending to fix an ‘owie’. “Feel better soon. I feel better soon”. Wish I had recorded it so you guys can have this cute little voice in your head too.
