Visual Basic was an awesome drag-and-drop app builder for early Windows. (If you wanna try, I recommend version 3.0 - works on Windows 3.x) I've only learned as an adult that there was a DOS version of it, porting Windows apps' UI-UX into a text-based environment. I find these ASCII components and multi-window apps infinitely cool! Below a few mins footage of me playing around with it. #retrocomputing #dos #visualbasic
