  AI is literally making its users stupider. This is a known thing. I don't think it’s even a controversial take at this point. I just cannot understand why people are still investing it with their time and dollars.

  I’ve been down an Emacs rabbit whole for almost a week now. I don’t think there’s a single problem or need I have that isn’t able to be solved much more simply by Obsidian, but man do I love the IDEA of doing it all with Emacs.

  Please, anyone, explain this to me like I'm stupid. 1. Journaling is a practice of mindfulness. 2. AI has been proven *repeatedly* to be so destructive to mindfulness as to cause the cognitive decline of users. 3. Day One, one of if not *the* most widely used and highly rated journaling tools on Apple platforms, has rolled out AI-assisted journaling. Help me to understand.
