  @jcrabapple Did you read the book? I've read it a few times, and I enjoyed it somewhat, at least enough to read it more than once. Is it faithful to the source, and does it add anything that my own imagination cannot conjure up?

  I know that US military personnel cannot just refuse orders they disagree with, if they're technically legal. Which regrettably they are, right now. Instead, I wonder if they might engage in a bit of malicious compliance.
