@rooster a few months ago, I started getting ads for dating sites/apps, and because I was in a monogamous relationship (and therefore uninterested) I thought it was a bit strange, but mostly I didn’t think much of it. Then my wife served me with a divorce petition and it made much more sense.

Going through a contentious divorce your spouse initiated is a very unpleasant experience. It’s a really bad break-up, in which you spend thousands of dollars on lawyers and court fees, much of which is to fight over who gets to parent your kids (and how much). 0/10 would NOT recommend!!!

@dkompare @mekkaokereke Agreed. The Blue/Red/Purple state model is good for one thing, and that&#39;s for communicating the likely winner of that state&#39;s electoral votes, and to a lesser extent, other statewide races (e.g. U.S. Senate, governor).
