  @apc I am watching a lot of shows. So um... let me pick one here. MY RIBDICULOUS REINCARNATION! It is 100% Japanese Weirdness and I am here for it. The goddess is cute af. It leans ENTIRELY into absurdity, the goddess is really cute, it has mixed animation and art styles, uses live action, stop-motion, papercraft, all sorts of wild things to add to the absurdity.   @apc I decided, of course, to go with Go! Princess Precure. This took some effort as back when I watched it, I used to DELETE my screencaps (GASP!), so I had very few left and I had to go and skim through episodes (fortunately I still had the fansubs!) to find one of the all-important violin scenes. Here, Princess Twilight makes a lasting, important impression on Haruka. GoPrin is one of the top 5 precure seasons and was my entry point to the franchise.   Mid(ish) Season update! Part 1! Can I just talk about My Ribdiculous Reincarnation for a few minutes? Let me just dedicate this post to it.   Winter 2026 was a bloody season for me: I dropped 4 shows this season, one of which I might not have mentioned even starting on. Kunon the Sorceror was that much of a nothing show. I dropped it at 3 episodes in, which is where I also dropped Shiboyugi, because it really was crap, and Wash it All Away because...well I just wasn't interested in what it was selling.   @apc Alrighty I think I finally made my mind up which #precure to use for this. I mean, there are a lot of options, from the OGs to Hibiki/Kanade to Sora/Mashiro. (The less said of IdolCure the better) BUT two couples stand out in Kira Kira Precure A La Mode: Himari/Aoi and Yukari/Akira, with Yukari being possibly THE most out lesbian in the franchise.   @apc And here's my entry for Hidden Gems... a Korean animation called "Copyright Infringement: The Animation!" Oh wait, I meant "DEFENDERS OF SPACE". It's a seriously corny so-bad-it's-good mash up of knock-off Gundam, Transformers, and some other super-robot things. It's rare and I only ever found an English dub.
