  I read a lot of science fiction. The extrapolation of the times that lead to these novels provide me a lot regarding philosophical and historical interpretations of the world around me. It can be… pretty depressing… but it’s nothing if not informative. We have so much to learn from our past, and we are just absolutely failing at it.

  Watched a video recently where someone noted they hadn't watched Star Trek in a while and it was time to rewatch it all... ... I realized it's been ages since I watched _any_ of it, so ... I just put on Star Trek: Generations As good as any other place to start, to put Trek front of mind again.
