I‘m currently reading a short fantasy novella as palate cleanser after a really long book. It has only 160 pages but it’s so boring and convoluted with weird lore that it feels like a 500 pages tome and I‘ve been reading it for 4 days now lol. Usually I can easily read 160 pages in a day, that’s how boring it is, ugh (if it were longer I’d have quit already but I’m powering through lol)

Jigsaw puzzles are a calm, relaxing hobby that&#39;s supposed to relieve stress. :puzzleblob: But then humans came along and were like &quot;how can we make this calm, quiet, peaceful hobby super stressful and competitive?!&quot; and thus, speed puzzling was born... Humans are weird.

Idk if it’s a German narrator problem for audiobooks, but if there’s literally a pronounciation guide for the names at the back of the book, why would you read it wrongly? I’ve encountered so many audiobooks where names were just butchered, especially Japanese names. And now Gaelic names, too. I’m just glad there’s no Niamh or Saoirse in the book… :holdthepain:

The amount of „well, if your partner won’t have sex with you x amount of times a week/month, you should just leave them“ advice in relationship subreddits whenever there are bedroom problems make me uncomfortable.
