It took me just a couple of months once I decided to quit. I'm even sending this from a LineageOS phone :pacmanblinky:

Is anyone else noticing this trend? (It's probably just me being not so social media aware) Whenever I see toots that are non-critical of societal issues or just plain "not thought through" and sometimes even (slightly) offensive, they all seem to come from new accounts that were created within the month or even within the last week. Most of them don't have any bio or own toots and just reply to (political/societal issues) stuff. They're not like on Twitterx that I left...

Any mastodon admins here who know about self-hosting mastodon? I am currently struggling hard with setting up my own mastodon instance on docker using "docker compose". My Mastodon page is showing the "Something is wrong on our side" banner. That's how far I've gotten so far. Jeder der diese Mittel vorschlägt, verteidigt, oder umsetzen will, ist ein Feind der freiheitlich-rechtsstaatlichen Demokratie und kann sich in die selbe Ecke wie die AfD und deren neonazi Schergen stellen. Mir reicht es so langsam mit diesen privilegierten #politdarstellern und deren hirnrissigen Ideen von angeblicher "Sicherheit", die letztendlich nur zur Gefahr für uns alle werden.
