A new by-law comes into effect as of tomorrow, banning #campfires and the use of disposable barbecues within the #Cairngorms National Park in #Scotland between April 1st and September 30th each year. Violations are subject to fines of up to £500. This by-law comes in the wake of the UK’s largest #wildfire on record, which ripped through parts of the north east last year.
