@AmeliaBR @joshtumath I don't work for Adobe anymore. You can try to reach out to @dirkschulze on X

@AmeliaBR @famulimas @castastrophe @joshtumath Mesh gradients go through a pass to convert them to more patches so the resulting gradient looks smoother. How the patches are drawn is defined by the PDF spec; although I do believe that the backside color of the patches is undefined.

@toji I added support for unbounded spaces to Quest's browser. What should happen to local-floor if I walk to another floor in my house?

@tojiro I didn't implement it yet, but OpenXR will send an event when you get closer to another guardian boundary. My worry is that people are just going to add 'unbounded' and are not prepared for when this space reset happens. I should populate the transform parameter of the reset event so well behaved experiences could compensate. I don't think that's implemented at the moment.

@tojiro As for switching between spaces, no, you couldn't leave the original guardian boundary until now.

@tojiro In AR, people expect that things stick to the real world. I guess that's already broken if the user holds down the Oculus/Meta button

@tojiro I don't think that will work. By the time the event is generated, the coordinate space is already changed.

@mpesce @admin it’s not that much work to keep it running since we don’t have that many subscribers. I need to update to a new release though. I’ve been putting it off because it seems risky.

@rvdleun quest browser supports body tracking as an experiment. The API is very similar to hands.

Quest Browser 36.2 adds support for unbounded spaces. You can now make WebXR experiences that are bigger than your guardian space.

@lvk you can now walk outside the guardian boundary. Previously the scene would stop rendering once you stepped outside the area you set up.

@bohlin yes, that is it. Also your experience must be AR.

@drcaberry @admin @mpesce I have no plans to disband this server

@candle Thanks for reaching out! We spoke offline and not everyone was on v39. Hopefully that will resolve your problem
