Back when it was pretty new, I used to tweet a lot. I also blogged. Some of it was funny. Plenty of it was cringe. These days I’m a little skittish of posting. It feels like I have nothing to gain by it. How do ye feel about posting?

I _really_ want to get myself, my friends and family all off meta products. Pixelfed tech is good but the community isn’t there yet. But the main problem is WhatsApp - are there any decent decentralised or even EU-based messaging networks worth looking at for techies and normies alike?

Introduced the 6yo to Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons. 70 years later they are still VERY good. He absolute loves them.

Finally caught the Abbott / Always Sunny crossover episodes. Narrative framing was a bit clumsy but I loved how they managed the tones, especially the Always Sunny ep. So fun seeing the Abbott characters let loose.

I&#39;m baaaaack! I tried to run a self-hosted instance, but by god the cache is not designed for single-user instances. It was gigs and gigs of profile images, profile headers and post assets. I&#39;m wondering if I actually need a lighter-weight ActivityPub-capable web app instead.
