discovered these omw to and then at Gatwick. At the USA TSA I had a very negative reaction to finding out our pre-check was mismanaged, had to cram into the long line and then be molested because I remembered to remove everything but my belt. My reaction almost got me in real trouble, and it's not really in my workflow yet to be overt about #autism and how others can be more helpful. All I did for the half hour in line was anticipate the awful customer service experience

I tend to switch to this alt to declare gripes, and I should try to engage and focus on positives more, but first: Part of this amazing trip included the opportunity to visit extended relatives I never would otherwise. The past few days of that resulted in very little sleep, excursions that went 2.5x the number of hours expected in very uncomfortable sun, awful acne, little water/refreshment, dodging crowds and being trapped in small spaces with unsupervised unruly toddlers, it's been to...

I created this alt to find some community for getting better in touch with what it means and how to navigate toward a better understanding of myself; and others! It was out of a bit of panic that I'm over now, but now I'm here anyway! I'm a coder, computer musician and all around diy crafty, cooki...

Something that pushed the idea forward to be evaluated was last year when I was trying to think of my favorite three characters from TV or film. I couldn't think of three, but Data is sort of a missing link. #autism

I've been listening to a playlist of music this week that's been out of my rotation since I was much younger. Unintentionally, it has been causing me to reflect on relationships I really struggled with during formative times, directed through the lens of my fresh #autism diagnosis, illuminating the patterns. The intent was to get some music making inspiration. I'm sort of waiting to come-out to indirect relatives and friends.

Something that's been in my routine for decades has been to think of the part of my mind that tries to solve problems while I'm asleep as a daemon or agent. I would call it a "TSR" (Terminate and Stay Resident program), a throwback to DOS computing. This morning, I woke up with a solution to a systems problem and followed up with it after I made some green tea. I do take it for granted, and I do, at times, even try to instruct it before going to bed. Sound famil...
