Throughout the years, I switched from #conda -&gt; #pyenv + #poetry -&gt; #uv, and I think I&#39;m finally settling down now. uv made me even ditch #pipx as a global #python tool manager. The #astral folks have done a really superb job ๐ ๐ฆ

I know that boosts are important in the Fediverse to discover new content. But disabling them in my home timelime made its quality skyrocket! I think I&#39;m willing to sacrifice serendipity for a better signal-to-noise ratio.

I&#39;ve stumbled upon the IndieWeb, and now I&#39;m tempted to &quot;indiewebfy&quot; my online presence. My first move should be a change in how and where I create content. For instance, instead of publishing on the Fediverse first, I should publish on my own microblog and THEN syndicate/replicate it to the Fediverse. https://indieweb.org/principles #indieweb

Pro tip: if group permissions are not working on #FreeBSD, remember to log out and back into the shell. This *also* includes destroying your tmux session, apparently.
