    Masters of the Universe was pretty cool. Or, at least, it effectively played on my nostalgia. I had fun and, considering the rather thin plot, it didn’t feel 2+hrs long.

Pop culture (especially music) might be particularly homogeneous, but that is pop’s nature, and has been since (at least) The Beatles. I’m not really convinced algorithmic playlists make this worse than pop radio DJs

    I finished Hurwitz’s Orphan X yesterday. Action/thriller isn’t usually my genre of choice (though I did like Farrugia’s Fifth Column series). It was a pretty good holiday read - I finished it in a couple of days. I’m not sure I’m ready to invest my time into the full series, though. #bookstodon
