@nieldk @nina_kali_nina I highly doubt it learned anything as opposed to just hit a safeguard by accident, but I think most relevant is that it is not a correct answer either. It should translate the text to Japanese, and not be clever about it, it's simply a failure of the tool to perform the task it's expected to

There doesn't seem to be any webcomic commentators lately. Or in the last decade, really. Kind of an odd thing that hit me.

But anyway, yesterday I had the most surreal experience in a long time, in which I was riding the bus and suddenly spotted this dude just biting leisurely on a raw bell pepper like it was an apple or something. Totally unbothered. Inspiring, even, in some way.

So I bought this very motivational print down at the FBDM this weekend (unfortunately it was the end of the day and the artist did not include a signature, I'll come back with credits when I find them)

It suddenly hit me, and I'm surprised I haven't seen it discussed yet given the bubbles I'm existing in, but there's this terrifying aspect of this whole "agent" thing where it's intended to be a tool where you ask it to do a thing and it does whatever it's needed to do, and what that does is you just outsourced learning to a machine as well as doing, and I'll be damned if that doesn't spell a fucking terrible futu...

This whole Mixtape thing better not become a new iteration of Gamergate, or so god help me

Ok, gonna be honest: with the amount of times I need to come back to chat messages or posts written on my phone because there are some bizarre word replacements I can't recall writing, I must say even the actual autocorrects are deteriorating now
