In 1982 there was an #Atari 2600 game named "Name This Game," with a $10,000 prize for the winner. I played the game today. It's not bad at all; kind of like Space Invaders where you're a diver sitting harpoons at a hungry shark and a giant octopus. But the company went bankrupt before the contest ended so a name was never chosen. In the 1990s another company held a contest to pick a name for it. The winning entry was "Going Under." Hi! I&#39;m still trying to decide where my home on the interwebs should be. I want to use Mastodon more. I like all you people! I also want to try using Lemmy instead of Reddit. I know Lemmy is largely devoid of people, but it kind of reminds me of pre-1993 Usenet.

I bought a New Nintendo 3DS XL from a coworker, replaced the damaged shell with a new one from AliExpress, and I love it! Been playing New Super Mario Bros. 2, Pokémon X (my first Pokémon game), and とびだせどうぶつの森 (Japanese release of Animal Crossing) on it. Also recently I took two dead 2011 MacBook Air laptops and rebuilt them into one working one. It runs the latest version of Linux Mint beautifully, and gets 5-6 hours from its new battery. Something I picked up from my local #writers group meeting the other night. This is advice I need to inscribe on my heart. (Paraphrased; I didn&#39;t record their exact wording.) My teammate was talking about his titanium dental implants, and I said he probably sets off metal detectors, and he said he doesn&#39;t because titanium is non-ferrous, so I called him &quot;Non-Ferrous Bueller&quot; and I&#39;m happy that he got the reference.
