  @Tock @kevinrns @javi Indeed, the effort might fail, but it's worth the shot. Since there are several forks already, we should just make sure that what we end up rallying for has a good governance model (that won't let it be easily hijacked like Mozilla). If the fork overtakes the original in marketshare, then there's a hope that the funding that Mozilla gets from Google would instead go to Waterfox (or Librewolf, or whatever...), which would make its development more sus...
