  @AkaSci are the “north” poles for other planets just chosen as the ones pointing roughly the same way as earth’s, or is there a more scientific way they designate the North Pole

  @FMarquardtGroup what kind of papers could even legitimately done by an AI? I get that code can be done by AI so there’s that, but as far as actual experiments go I can’t imagine any way a paper can be mostly or completely written by AI and not be fraudulent. Unless we give LLMs humanoid bodies to control, labs to put them in, and a grant submission process

  @k I had it for HydroCube since Tunnels was the only way I could host mastodon for free on my managed apartment internet a few years ago. Also at my last apartment I was using cloud flare for HTTPS certs since Hover (my domain registrar) wasn’t supported by swag (port 80 was blocked on that internet). But now I’m moving my domain to porkbun so I can cut cloudflare out entirely

  @k Ah well I’m in America (pls don’t defed hydrocube it’s just me) so I’m cooked irregardless. Porkbun at least seems like a chill, small company that’s pro-enthusiast compared to THE CLOUDFLARE MONOLITH. Also pissed they caused me downtime a few weeks ago

  So today’s a great day to introduce our #cat Marshall on #Mastodon because this morning he saved our lives! @nowafflecone and I were playing video games this evening and we noticed Marshall was clawing at the door to our utility closet. I was like man… that’s weird… so we opened the door and took a whiff, and it smelt like natural gas. We evacuated ourselves and called the gas company, they came and found out our water heater was leaking gas #Caturday #Catstodon #CatsOfMastodon
