  I wasn't going to go to RightsCon, because I'm gay, and Access Now decided to hold it in a country that criminalizes being gay. But RightsCon in Zambia getting cancelled because of Chinese government soft power, is a truly monumental event, and I wish I had a plane ticket to Zambia after all, to dig into what happened.
