  My kids were just arguing over the lyrics to My Favorite Things. Specifically the line: “X that fly with the moon on their wings” One said X == Monkeys Other said X == Donkeys Both were very convinced of their perspective.

  I succeeded in making my cloud instance cry (not responding due to overworked CPU). Go’s aggressive parallelization in compiling does not work with shared cpus.

  We have an old White sewing machine that we broke. Getting it fixed seems to be nearly impossible given they don’t make parts and the repair people don’t want to even work on the machine at all. Given we are getting a new machine but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg what are some good suggestions? I am leaning towards a Janome 1522 as most of the work we do is making cloths with light fabrics.

  Anyone modifying an #UI please ask yourself: will this make taking the same action more complex? And if the answer is yes and that isn’t your goal you should replan. Used to be able to update Apps with just a few taps now it is buried in extra layers.
