Boomer on the train today was conducting a conference call on speakerphone in front of the whole carriage. I don't commute so much these days, is this now usual behaviour? No-one else looked surprised. Needless to say, it very much had the air of a meeting that should have been an email or perhaps a Slack thread.

When I was in the early part of my career I used to look at the managers who forgot how to code and swear that would never be me. I haven't forgotten just yet, but I fear it'll be an AI team I'm managing when I do.
