My god... Watching StarTrek Strange New Worlds S4 E2. It's a literal horror story and it’s *intense*. I never liked horror but i'm ploughing through. If you are disturbed by horror movies (posession, bodily harm): SKIP.

Woodworking today at @revspace ! Saw a youtube detailing how to make a herringbone pattern out of plywood strips. So i made a test piece. To be flattened and sanded later, but very pleased so far!

Spent an afternoon at @hackalot shifting furniture around. A “new” free stuff cabinet, and the big storage rack moved to the main space to vastly increase storage around the soldering table. We then added a bunch of light to make the table more attractive and usable. Also added a light above the 3d printers.

After the solar installation Tuesday, yesterday i spent a few minutes setting up P1 monitoring for Home Assistant, and now i get to see amazing stats on power usage and distribution in the house! Still need to add a few more sensors so we know more, but this so far is amazing! I just set my import and export stats and pointed to a few power consumption sensors, and then amazing graphs someone else designed happened!

We added a few plants to the living room, and two nice lights! Slowly this space is becoming incredibly comfortable to live in!

Volgende week zaterdag zijn veel hackerspaces nog opener dan normaal met de landelijke open dag! Bezoek ook zo’n clubhuis vol hackers, knutselaars en makers, al is het maar om te ontdekken dat hackers best leuk zijn! Check https://hackerspaces.nl voor een open dag in jouw buurt. To any of my UK-based friends: is anyone willing to get some stuff for us at Tesco&#39;s (or other supermarket) and ship it to the Netherlands? We fell in love with the Indian Curry kits from &#39;The Spice Tailor&#39; and we&#39;re out of the bulk purchase we did a while back. They are amazingly good and we have *nothing* that even comes close in the Netherlands.

Finally the moment came that a cabinet i built almost a year ago could be installed in our home. It’s for housing the 3d printer and various arts/crafts stuff. It will also feature a cat-passage connecting the hallway to the living room.

Yesterday afternoon and evening were used to install solar on our roof. Was a fun project to do. And today we reaped the benifits in a very nice amount of KWh&#39;s!
