<p>I'm a developer/designer/typographer. I have more than a passing interest in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Roxette" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Roxette</span></a>. Some would call it an obsession, but I don't.</p>

I’ve been working on a revival of Clearface by Morris Fuller Benton for a few months and recently found some better quality ATF specimen books scans. My initial goal is to release it with the same glyph coverage as General Gothic, but my long term plan is to adapt it for use alongside the superior HEX Franklin by @nicksherman with matching metrics for a long-form, long-term book project I’m working on. Its working title is Routine Roman, but we’ll see if that sticks. https://barry.mieny.com/f...

@eWalthert @fontspectrum This is embarrassing, but it seems I misremembered. You were also in those threads, but it was about the kerning of variable fonts not a VF axis. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/204670-variable-fonts-kerning-broken/ and https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/226531-variable-fonts-kerning-still-broken/
