Preparing a goodie bag for the upcoming #PravConf2026! I finished the design yesterday and @athulvis@aana.site and @libreinator@fe.disroot.org went to Sanchi Bags to get it printed Apart from stickers and a small batch of t-shirts, this is the first time we're getting to see @prav merch and I'm looking forward to it 😋 Oh, by the way, does the way those pigeon trails line up look familiar? 😉 (The image is a mockup; I superimposed the Inkscape design onto a photo provided by Sanchi Bags...

Is there like a good resource on GUI programming, by which I mean not &quot;how to use the latest framework which is running in electron btw&quot; but actual fundamentals on the theory behind graphical user interfaces and flows and how it all works?

Just published a blog post on #Convo, my #XMPP chat app for #KaiOS :xmpp: https://badrihippo.thekambattu.rocks/clog/introducing-convo/ It&#39;s basically a rehashing of the README and #Liberapay page with a few added plugs for KaiOS but I suspect it still took me longer to write than the last actual feature I added to the app so go figure 🤷🏾

Your periodic reminder that what goes by the name of #AI today has no moral compass because it inherits all the problematic biases and tendencies of today&#39;s society which it picked up from the data it is trained on. By using these tools, you are helping to perpetuate and entrench such biases
