I am looking at the stats of my website, I see 150-200 unique visitors per day, with half of them returning visitors. THO, I am unhappy with the content. I used to dislike the tone of my posts: too dense, too technical, and crazy (who talks to vegetables already?). Nowadays it is less crazy in some sens, it is less technical but still dense, and it is unclear, especially the #mobius series what holds them together. It is as if I am writing a new book every time. And by the way, I draw a pict...

Regarding letloop http server, I added CML, and fixed a couple of bugs, along the benchmark now do apple-to-apple comparison (template vs. string interpolation, one CPU core), here is the summary: On the counter-page scaling benchmark (wrk, 1–256 connections, each server single-threaded and pinned to one core, performance governor), the peak throughput each stack reached — from slowest to fastest — was: FastAPI/uvicorn+uvloop at 60,873 req/s (64 connections), Node.js at 189,890 req/s (8 connect...

Humanities in the Machine March 13 2026 There is something quietly remarkable about the people who built the foundations of modern computing. Not their technical achievements, though those are extraordinary. What is remarkable is where they came from before they ever touched a machine. https://blainsmith.com/essays/humanities-in-the-machine/ #programming #humanities

It is not only a coincidence, I commented on @tante blog post “AI as a fascist artifact” from https://tante.cc/2026/04/21/ai-as-a-fascist-artifact/ and at the same time announced the release of bb.scm at https://hyper.dev/2026/re-ai-fascist-artifact/ Garez and #eng4g3

I am at odd with people complaining about having “drive by contributions of vibe code”. Despite all those years of having dozens of open source project and the ones I have now I had exactly 3 contributions 1 pr on GitHub that was completely broken but accepted to motivate a person more junior than me. And 2 emails for consulting / support on how to do stuff. It’s my life. I wish people interacted more with my project instead of forking privately.
