Any app with a single external dependency is only as reliable as that dependency. I’ve been building @alpenglowapp&#39;s own sunrise &amp; sunset forecast model for exactly that reason. For the first time in nearly 10 years, I just built Buffers iOS app without Texture / AsyncDisplayKit. A lot of modernization went into this, and with the new Composer almost out the door, the rest of the dominos can fall, including removing CocoaPods and finally being 100% in on Swift Package Manager.

@RobW Starglow handles Dynamic Type quite well in my opinion. Not perfect but better than some I&#39;ve seen.

Not bad considering January I was at 8.8k overall. 📈 Been leaning into SEO lately, nice not having to wait on approvals or deal with rejections. 😅

Back from Deep Dish Swift, and all but one update for @alpenglowapp’s big 10th birthday release is now approved by Apple.(need more rejection socks) Time to get the Android update buttoned up along with some marketing bits. If anyone wants to check it out let me know!

Going a few rounds with App Review 😅 1. Rejected for missing Apple Weather attribution (on a plan that doesn’t use it) 2. Fixed the attribution link not opening on visionOS (os check quirk) 3. Resubmitted 4. Rejected again for #1... with screenshots showing the upgrade prompt where the weather would be. 🔁
