Welcome to AI powered google translate, I guess. 'Sprite' now is translated as 'спрайtas'. Yes, spelled in cyrillic. And it reads 'spraitas', which is what lithuanian would say when not knowing translation. I have no words.

Oh, nice, Google has taught everyone to never delete emails. Now they begin to slowly make the storage paid. https://www.androidauthority.com/google-free-15gb-gmail-storage-ending-explanation-3667360/

Maybe I'm to used to C/C++ way of doing things. I find weird that in Swift you just write code like script in case it is a one file program, but if it's more than one file, then your files must not have statements at top level except one dedicated main.swift file. I prefer explicit main function instead. #programming #SwiftLang

A lovely thing about modern technology: I could put my daughter to sleep yesterday and then watch UEFA Champions League final pretending I watch it live! A downside was that it was well past minight when in ended, but the match was worth it!

Never before have I though of this. In C/C++ signature for main is: int main(int argc, char **argv); (yeah, there is also env version). Note that argv is pointer to pointer where neither pointer is const. You can modify the thing! Tried using clang on Mac, modifying argv[0] or argv[0][0] works. #programming #Cpp

Google delivers. Messages app on my phone gives me menu item "Šiukšliadėžė", which translates to English as "Trash". Noun. Should understand as "delete" myself, I guess. Tapping it gives a dialog titled "Perkelti %d pokalbį į šiukšliadėžę". Yes, it litterally contains %d in it. #programming #android

@jwildeboer @scheichsbeutel hopefully similat to Lithuania, where those fast ones are small. But Hungary has a mixed system, similar to hours where part of the parlament is elected by voting for parties, other part for individuals, so it's hard to predict by votes for parties alone.

A shoxkingly bad experience of using google maps. @CoMaps is what I typically use, but I had to go to recently moved company in a naturally difficul area. Edited OpenStreetMap to be up to date now. Anyway, shocking because it used to be decent. Now it guided my car like a pedestrian or bike, dunno. Next atempt defaulted to car, so I assume previous was as well. Just terrible.

Trump says Iran war could end in 'two weeks, maybe three' wasn't it supposed to be four, maybe less week operation? Rubio says US can see 'finish line' on Iran war. Mr. oversized shoes, you do know that long distance runs typically have interim lines? I really really hope my pessimism on the matter is wrong and it all end soon. #IranWar
