  @ellane for your OBTF, do you add new entries at the bottom or the top? Does obsidian typically put you at the top of the file on mobile obsidian when you launch the app cold? How do you conveniently jump to the bottom of the file? (I know tapping the system clock at the top will take you to the top of the file). Do you use the outline pane a lot on mobile to navigate the file or are there too many sections?

  @geffrey I have started saving markdown links to whatever random pages I’ve opened each day to the bottom of my daily note in obsidian. Omnivore shutting down was the last straw. I’ve given up on reading apps.

  couple things I've been interested in lately: * https://www.terrygodier.com/current * New RSS reader. * https://github.com/tmux/tmux/wiki * I got some help, and configured tmux similar to the GNU Screen setup I've become accustomed to these many years. Am enjoying updated terminal settings and slightly fancier mouse and scrollback handling.

  claude just tried to talk me out of writing a script. I made it write it anyway, then asked it if it was cheaper (in tokens) to run the script and check its output rather than doing all the work itself, and it admitted it was substantially cheaper with the script lol

  I rescued a gecko from the garage and put him in a bush out front. I was afraid he wouldn’t live very long in the garage. I did some research and it was probably a western banded gecko and apparently they like to hide in garages. Hopefully he’s not too unhappy in the bush instead.

  I don't believe it but Apple has improved the app switcher bar in Tahoe! I can now have more than 24 app icons in the app switcher and still there is a highlight (now white) around the selected icon. This may have just happened in 26.4.1 because I just noticed it. (Previously the highlight was black but got thinner as the number of icons increased until it completely disappeared in the low twenties) 🎉
