I just got this new job but I’m already thinking about leaving it because it’s just not my scene. But first I need to find a job to replace it with. I know it’s in bad taste to leave within the first three months, but I’m willing to risk have a demerit on my professional record since this new job is making me so fucking miserable.

Moving more of my stuff out of my soon to be old apartment into my storage unit and it’s definitely freeing to be like “oh soon I can just not have to talk to my mom”. And re: my mental health rant last night, yeah I’m definitely looking for a new job while still apartment hunting because I don’t want to be a burden on the friend I’m going to live with for the next few months.

I got banned from a gay bar archives group for this post and I thought maybe my audience here would enjoy it more. So evidently a bunch of conservatives just found out that Vince Gill, a country musician who got his start in the rock band Pure Prairie League, is not conservative. And I read the headline and said out loud, “yeah of course he’s not conservative. He was in Pure Prairie League.”

I recently found out my IQ from finally getting my hands on my autism diagnosis and it’s a number in the range of “yeah being in academia has already reaffirmed for me that I am a genius and though I object to the use of IQ scores in most contexts, it was a nice little pick me up for a psychiatrist to classify me as a genius”. #ActuallyAutistic #AuDHD #OrgBehavior #BusinessAcademia

I’ve stopped going to gay bars in favor of going to the super old school, very historical, somewhat famous counter culture bar in my town because at least at Bar B I’m just a witness to the fights. Whereas at the gay bar, Bar A, I’m likely to start fights.
