Hello Fediverse. I'm looking for a job. I'm a web developer of 12 years of experience (mostly backend, but I can do some frontend in a pinch). Microservices, new APIs, refactorings - I did it all. I primarily worked with #Ruby and Rails, but I have experience with #Python and #Elixir. Currently residing in Israel, but I'm happy to work remotely on contract, or maybe even relocate. If you're interested, my LinkedIn is https://www.linkedin.com/in/artemiysolopov/ #RubyOnRails #...

RE: https://infosec.exchange/@paco/116504499864795870 It's just, would be funny if it weren't so sad. Every time I see an LLM being somewhat useful, I start doubting myself. Am I attaching myself too hard to this? Am I being intelligence-drained right now? And then I read about something like this, about someone who downs the whole LLM thing like an alcoholic downs a bottle of vodka.

Ah yes, the eternal question: do I use an existing blogging engine or do I just quickly write my own?

RE: https://toot.cafe/@reconbot/116460545247850000 TBH this is something I've been thinking about recently (re: AI and agents). Do we just need a better beginner programming language? Something that, yeah, you probably won't write a Full Blown Web App in, but that will work for simple scripts if you want to just Get Some Data and Show It or Just Push Some Data Somewhere? P. S. Or maybe not a language but like an environment. Kind of like a mix between Basic, Spyder and Postman.

RE: https://xoxo.zone/@datn/116413638461925484 I still think it's a gimmick. The reduce in reliability (scratches at level nails) is too much for me. They should've just made DS but a phone, and they're all cowards for not doing so.
