<p>I believe democracy is the only system of government that makes the state the property of the people rather than the people the property of the state. The government in Israel is trying to change this, to which we say: "they shall not pass". </p><p>My partner and I are raising 3 delightful and uniquely talented kids.</p><p>I run.</p><p>For work, I'm a Principal Engineer at <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/treeverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>treeverse</span></a> R&D. אלה בפיזיקה לכבוד החג, שמטרידה אותי בכל שנה. נא הפיצו כמו פירורי מצה, שתימצא תשובה! אני מכין כופתאות (קניידלך בעברית). תחילה הן דבוקות לתחתית הסיר, ואז מתנתקות וצפות. אבל *כעת* מתרחש פלא: בכל כמה דקות הן מתהפכות! פעם אחת הייתי מבין - התבשל יותר למטה, הביצה גרמה להתרחבות ולירידה בצפיפות, והכופתאה התהפכה. אבל זה קורה שוב, לאותה כופתאה. למה? #פסח #קניידלך #בישול #פיזיקה

#github was down, you say? 1. Firstly, only #pull_request-s were actually down. Who uses those on a platform designed for managing pull requests on top of #git? 2. Even those were actually _working_. It was only _searching_ for a pull request that didn&#39;t work. You could still interact with pull requests if you had taken the trouble to memorize their number. 3. Search wasn&#39;t _completely_ down. It only didn&#39;t return _all_ results. So technically #search was working. Th...
