  @DavidGoldfield@allovertheplace.ca from the fastplay readme. The second slider allows you to do things such as seek and move between tracks. You adjust what this slider does by using comma and period, and you adjust the slider with left and right arrows.

  hey @MewProjects@fwoof.space, just checking, if I set a custom tempo algorithm in fastplay, this only applies to local files? If I stream a podcast episode, it always uses SoundTouch?

  @JamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.me All you need to do is go to the AI settings tab in settings, and in the model override box put something like. gemini-2.5-pro. or gemini-2.5-flash. Note. I haven't played with this for ages, and the last time I tried, it just plain didn't work for me.

  Hey, Mastodon hive mind. I'm wondering what the best sollutions are these days for accessibly interacting with IRC? I come from the era of tools like MircWithSpeech and TalkingIRC. I'm currently using ADIIRC, with its speech plugin, which I helped develop! Along with @fastfinge@fed.interfree.ca, but i'm not sure if that client is seeing a lot of development, and there's still some annoying accessibility quirks, I'm also quite comfortable with irssi, but would prefer a windows...

Sometimes, just nice to have a stationary thing on a desk to put a document under and not wave a phone about with seeing AI. Although admittedly I still do this most of the time anyway.
