<p>I make documentaries</p><p>It's important for <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/democracy" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>democracy</span></a> that windows are opened onto all sorts of lives and inequities so when it comes time to vote we know what kind of country, laws & protections we want and who/what might best serve that purpose...also cats, dogs, potatoes and quantum physics are what life is about...</p>

Today also marks international #MimeographDay (NOT) which got confused with #WomensDay because before photocopiers c. 1966, women had to do the admin printing for offices, schools blah blah for qwap pay...not to be confused with #MommyGraftDay

Is there an easily downloadable MAP for all the locations of events for the #Dublin St. Patrick&#39;s Festival ? #StPatrick I&#39;m all over the website which, sadly is a bit of a search engine mess and full of gizmo with too much verbiage and not much user-friendliness. Trying to advise Ukainians, Libyan &amp; Brazilian students I teach and the site isn&#39;t very local living or cosmopolitan friendly. Like where is ClarkeSquare? Why is there still a maze through #AcceptDeny cookie &amp; tech/advert choices before one can access a website? Can&#39;t it be simplified by choosing either #accept or #deny rather than almost every website creating obstacles that can invade privacy through confusion/bamboozlery? If we don&#39;t want to let someone into our online home, why not some simpler, less hassle-y solution? #cookies #yookies

This morning 1030, I met student friends from #Ukraine in #Bewley&#39;s in Grafton Street. There was quite a queue &amp; I figured, oh yes, #StPatrick&#39;s weekend. But then I realised the upstairs was closed &amp; asked about it.The very nice staff said they can&#39;t get enough staff to work in hospitality so are only serving on ground floor &amp;not all of ground floor &amp; the staff have to already live in Dublin because no flats to rent. #SadDay.
