Once i had my check in luggage checked without me being present. There was a letter from customs said they do it, which i only found aftrr i arrived destination. I would not have noticed (how do you think my luggage looks like). Felt scary. For complete picture, i had a lot of electrical equipment and an old computer, so yeah, it could have been a detonator.
