#SilentSunday and a not so very silent #quilt top. This is a walkthrough of a majority of the fabrics I have gotten since I started quilting. I have learned a lot about color combinations, but am glad I started out without overthinking. I know a lot more about what colors and patterns are in my taste than I did when starting. It was a really beautiful day in the south of Finland, but the roads got a bit soggy in the afternoon.

Damn spell check and damn it&#39;s red squiggly lines everywhere. I write in three languages. English is my third language, my texts are usually read by people who just need to get what I&#39;m saying. NO, I don&#39;t care if your variant of english spells it &#39;mineralised&#39; or &#39;mineralized&#39;. Whoa! It feels good to rant..

I drew this a few years ago. When my body and mind were in constant stress about both work and my private life. When the weekend came I would be overwhelmed by all the chores, unfinished creative projects, and the perceived requirement to socialise. I learned to say no to some and yes to a select few. I now try to bring some presence to whatever I do. The chores will not end. Creativity is not about production, it is about the experience. It&#39;s ok I only thought about drawing, if that fee...
