  Broken Rice with BBQ Pork Chop at my favourite Vietnamese eatery. It's at Virginia, North of Adelaide in the market garden area and has many locals of Vietnamese descent for Customers. Because it's an hour and a half drive from home I don't get there often, but when I do it's an event!

  #wine Seppeltsfield winery South Australia Tasted a Reisling, a Grenache Shiraz Mataro blend, a straight Grenache and a dry Apera (what we call sherry in Australia) All delicious. The GSM was quite complex, but the Shiraz was the star. Not as heavy as traditional Australian Shiraz and fruit forward. The sherry wasn't quite as dry as I expected, with just a hint of fruit stopping it from stripping your face off. https://seppeltsfield.com.au/

  Went to little Thai restaurant today in the unfashionable, student accommodation end of town. Kind of homely feel with lovely service from a single family. I had Pad Kaprao chicken, which was sensational. My son, whose recommendation it was, had a lava omelette. No I don't know either, bit it was draped over rice with garlic pepper sauce, chicken and vegetables. Also delicious.

  If you get a chance to see this - in Australia, it's on ABC iView, but something called BYU TV seems involved in the US - then watch it with your kids. A bit like David Lynch for 12 year olds.
