Just finished &quot;The Annual Migration of Clouds&quot; by Premee Mohamed, and it’s an easy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me. Mohamed, a western Canadian author, sets us in a quietly brutal story in a post-collapse Alberta university town, and that choice makes the future feel uncomfortably close to ours. The world has ended, but not all at once; what’s left is exhaustion, small community loyalty, and people trying to decide whether survival is enough.
