Today’s metal fabrication! Three hooks made from 3/8ths round stock and some large ball bearings. First time tig welding (so cool) and bending with heat using an acetylene torch. We worked out of my friend Matt’s shop (and he did all the tricky tig welding for us 😆)

New camera came in this week. I’ve been hunting for “my perfect medium format folder”. Last summer I bought a tiny Voigtlander Perkeo II, I’ve really enjoyed using it and I’ve had some good to excellent results, but I’ve also had a number of shots that are just too soft for me to use. I suspect a combination of front focus aberrations and bad focus distance guessing due to zone focusing. Hey Merveillians, anyone interested in putting together Ben Eaters bread board computer? I made the kit and loved it, but had to dissassemble it for storage and I’m not interested in doing it again. Free to a good home (or cover the shipping if it needs to go somewhere).
