I dug up old hard drives and found some of my code from somewhere around 2005-2007. It's horrible. It compiles and works once I edited the makefiles a bit. Not sure what I should think.

Another long shot, but anyone know anything about HDD repair, or anyone that would? I've been spending some time trying to do archaeology on my 20+ year old hard disk drives to find out some of the old stuff I've made. Ok, this is probably a long shot, but I found an old HDD disk drive I had when I was kid (the date 13.1.96 is written on the disk), and while USB to IDE adapter did manage to spin up the disk, it didn't manage to allow me to `dd` data out of the disk (it fails with no medium found). Anyone have any idea how I could access whatever is on that disk? #datarecovery

Yak shaving of this week: There is a path from "Hmm, I want to use Sway instead of GNOME for my work computer's desktop" to "I'm writing a C++26 reflection based wrapper for d-bus messages".

Here I was hoping to catch up on stuff I "need" to do on weekend, and at Friday evening, I get @modos E-Ink display and glider dropped in mail. What do I do with it? I have no idea, but from the quick testing, I am going to love this thing.
