  There are tens of millions of tech jobs, the vast, vast majority of which is doing boring stuff like running the websites you visit. …and then in their free time some create platforms like the one you’re on roght now, for free. So the generalization you made therr isn’t that appreciated.

  Hate is maybe the wrong word, but they’re certainly naturally opposed to it. Like a fish is naturally opposed to living on land. It doesn’t hate the land, but if it gets to decide you don’t get any.

  Despite how similar the interface is the protocol is completely different. NVMe is basically just PCIe, so adaptating it so that it runs “under” SATA would be difficult if not almost impossible. And most definitely not worth the extra price.
