@zack I think of it in a slightly different way. If I block domain.tld, I am not making that decision for everyone in my community. Someone in my community has subscribed to the user who triggered me to check that instance and discover there is nothing redeemable from there in my opinion. The other thing a domain block does is it prevents anyone from that instance directly seeing content from me. If my toots get boosted, they may see them. I do not get to make decisions for others.

@afreytes @MayInToronto Because Fedi is eidetic, despite all appearances otherwise. May_Likes_Toronto: I do the same, all the time. I am becoming of the opinion it is a bad idea to post here. Maybe in some of the variations on the theme of better Diaspora, or other privacy community. Mostly, though, I would rather indie something with better privacy. Which I think I will do.

Hmm, I must have missed an announcement, but I can no longer log in to #mstdn.ca via #TorBrowser - blocked by #CloudFlare, which never loads the challenge. This is a critical #fail for me.

Something I had not noticed for, apparently, nearly 2 years (thank you fellow #Snowflakes!) is that #mstdnCA is blocking #Tor. It is a legitimate choice to reduce certain vectors of risk. Yet here I am, logged in on #TorBrowser. For me, this is about supporting people who cannot see the uncensored web without a tool like Tor. And it has been personal. So, I am looking to migrate again. I will update here when I decide on a new community. Also, @Amgine@mamot.fr
