@merchantHelios ys series (archetypal action rpgs), trails series (imagine the platonic form of a jrpg in your head but with actual writing), xanadu series (historically fantasy but last entry kind of did an urban high school setting to cash in on those persona $$$$$), https://www.falcom.co.jp/vantage/index_e.html honorable mention for vantage master which is a pretty good srpg that in a gigachad move they officially translated and made freeware 20+ years ago

Something not often remarked about in this present age of ours is the resemblance between so-called "artificial intelligence" and demon summoning. Assemblages of (alleged) randomness which get manipulated by supernatural entities into flattering and sycophantic pseudo-language which is used to parasitize (willing and not) human hosts and attempt to get them to forfeit their individuality (being as they are made in the image of God) in favor of being absorbed into the collective though...
